Michael's fascination with the financial sector ignited during his youth when he approached his mother with inquiries about investing his weekly chore allowances. Embracing the mantra of "Invest in what you know," Michael did exactly that…(and today three-of-the-four companies that nine-year old Michael invested in have gone bankrupt). Recognizing that it is extremely hard to beat the market, Michael has since adopted a much more diversified approach to his investment style and has found success studying investor behavior, cash flow needs, and focusing on aspects of one's financial world that are much more controllable than the overall market.

With a passion to explore the financial industry from a behavioral point of view, Michael graduated from Pennsylvania State University with degrees in Economics and Psychology. Armed with this unique blend of knowledge, he seamlessly transitioned his long-standing internship into a promising career at Key Financial following his graduation. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Michael uses his expertise daily to help clients achieve their financial goals through thoughtful planning and behavioral insights.

While Michael may envision himself as an intrepid adventurer, a globetrotter, and a skilled golfer, the reality of juggling his responsibilities as a father of three and a career leaves little room for leisure pursuits (not that he minds one bit). Nevertheless, he unfailingly prioritizes attending Philadelphia sporting events or live music gigs whenever possible. Residing in West Chester, PA, alongside his elementary school sweetheart, Caylee, and their trio of offspring—Delaney, Brooks, and Kennedy—Michael savors the rare moments of summer, indulging in activities such as fishing, gardening, and poolside basketball. Remarkably, in his home (pool) court, he boasts a stellar HORSE record of 42-12 against his children.
