Meet Danielle Hopkins
"My mother said to me, 'If you are a soldier, you will become a general. If you are a monk, you will become the Pope.' Instead, I was a painter, and became Picasso." –Pablo Picasso
Known to many as Tom’s "right hand", Danielle has served as his Office Manager for three years. She truly enjoys the diversity the position offers. From managing distributions to client reporting, Danielle’s attention to detail is seen in everything she handles. A true financial market enthusiast, Danielle avidly watches the daily trends and is known for her decorative office walls lined with financial charts and graphs!
Danielle will be the first to tell anyone that her most important role is found at home. She and her husband of 20 years are quite busy raising three active children and shuttling them back and forth to their various activities and games. A favorite family pastime is heading down for a Flyers game or planning their next vacation. Their favorite summer tradition involves loading the entire family in the car and driving down to Fort Meyers Beach to visit with relatives. Danielle is proud to say that even after all these years, the kids value the family time together as much as the adults do!
Get to Know Me
What’s the highest honor or award you've ever received?
My daughter Ava gave me a handmade award that says "Best Mom Award." She made it just because she wanted to. I have that award hanging in my office. No award could have topped that.
What's your most cherished family tradition?
My husband and I have a Christmas Eve party every year. We ask one guest to read "The Night before Christmas" then they sign and date the book. The book was giving to us by my husband's mother when we were first married. It has 20 years' worth of memories and signatures in it. As the party comes to an end the Christmas Elves always drop off new, fresh jammies wrapped in a pretty bow for my kids at the front door.
How did you decide what you wanted to do with your life?
I never decided, life decided for me. When a door opened I walked through it. I have always believed in fate and destiny. The people in my life are around me for a reason. I just follow the yellow brick road and where it takes me is anyone's guess.
